These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Plotfolio. They govern your access to and use of the Plotfolio website, web application, and related services (the “Service”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. What Plotfolio is — and is not
Plotfolio is an informational and record-keeping tool that helps you organise and track property investments, payments, and build progress. Plotfolio does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, valuation, or real-estate advice, and nothing in the Service should be relied upon as such. We are not a bank, broker, escrow agent, financial institution, or party to any transaction between you and a developer, seller, or any third party. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and should seek advice from qualified professionals.
4. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Enable two-factor authentication or a passkey where available.
- Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
- If you invite others to a shared account, you are responsible for the access you grant them.
5. Plans, trials, and fees
The Service is currently offered free of charge during its Alpha period. We may introduce paid plans, trials, or features in the future. If we do, we will make the applicable prices and terms available before you are charged, and any fees will be billed in accordance with the plan you select. We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorisation.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or overloading our infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by law, or resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.
- Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful content.
7. Your content
You retain all rights to the data, documents, and other content you submit to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant Plotfolio a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service to you and the members of your account. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of Your Content, and for keeping your own copies — the Service is not a system of record or a backup service.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, and trademarks, is owned by Plotfolio and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your internal purposes. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
9. Third-party services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (for example, Google sign-in). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information in the Service (including totals, projections, or summaries derived from data you enter) is accurate or complete. The Service may be in a pre-release (Alpha or Beta) state and may change, break, or be discontinued.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plotfolio and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or investment, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plotfolio and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
14. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes

16. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
